About the Role

An opportunity is available for a reliable and detail-oriented Filipina Assistant Trust Accountant to support a Commercial Property Management portfolio in Australia.

This is a backend financial role focused on trust accounting processes. Minimal owners’ communication required, but you will work closely with the Property Manager and internal team.

The role involves high-volume transaction processing, strict compliance procedures, and strong attention to accuracy and timelines.

Working hours & set-up

  • 38 hours per week (standard)
  • Flexible overtime required (up to 50 hours/week) during peak season July–September for budgets and reconciliations
  • Perth time zone (AWST. 9am-5pm PHL time)
  • Work from home
  • We are looking for someone stable and committed to a long-term role

Key Responsibilities

Assistant Trust Accountant (Commercial Property Management)

  • Lease agreement financial setup and entries
  • Set up contractors/suppliers (ensuring minimum compliance requirements are met)
  • Manage invoicing inbox
  • Checking supplier invoices in (Cirrus8) software
  • Ensure invoices are approved by PM before sending to Trust Accountant for processing
  • Process receipting and allocation of tenant payments
  • Apply charges, adjustments, and credits (following approval workflow)
  • Enter sub-metering charges
  • Handle utilities and outgoings
  • Process security bond top-ups
  • Process transfer journals
  • Recoding of financials where required
  • Run tenant invoice billing (15th of every month)
  • Perform monthly trust bank reconciliations
  • Assist with budgeting and reconciliation work during peak period

This role involves a high level of data entry and financial processing. Accuracy and timeliness are critical.

Job Skills & Requirements

  • Female Filipino Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines
  • Accounting graduate (not a recent graduate)
  • 3+ Years of Accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of: (or willingness to learn quickly through internal training)
    – Trust accounting principles
    – GST
    – Bank reconciliation
    – Charges, credits, and adjustments
    – Financial coding
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • High attention to detail, excellent time management, prioritisation, and multitasking skills
  • Able to manage repetitive financial tasks with consistency
  • Willing to work extended hours during July–September peak period
  • Stable work history and looking for long-term employment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and long-term commitment

Preferred but not required:

  • Previous work with a client in Australia
  • Experience in Commercial Property Management accounting
  • Experience using C8 / Cirrus8 (training will be provided by client to the right candidate)
